Posteko ("Posteko", "we", "us") cares about protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we use it, and what your rights are. It applies to the Posteko application and the posteko.com website.
1. Data controller
Posteko is a service published and operated by Andrianaivo Andriniaina Fredo (Entreprise Individuelle), registered under RCS Antananarivo 2026 A 00363, tax ID (NIF) 2008312301, with its registered office at Immeuble SALFA, Ambatovinaky, 101 Antananarivo Renivohitra, Madagascar. 2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address and preferences (including language) you provide when signing up.
- Social account authentication data: when you connect a LinkedIn or Facebook account, we receive and store — encrypted — the access tokens required to publish on your behalf, along with the identifiers of your pages and profiles.
- Profile and onboarding data: your professional identity, goals, audience and writing style, used to personalize the content we generate.
- Content: the posts, drafts, ideas and media you create or import into Posteko.
- Performance data: engagement metrics (views, likes, comments) for your posts, retrieved from LinkedIn and Facebook to provide you with analytics.
- Usage data: technical logs and usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use your data
- Provide, operate and improve the service.
- Generate personalized content using artificial intelligence.
- Publish and schedule your posts to the accounts you connect.
- Provide you with performance analytics.
- Ensure security, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
4. Artificial intelligence
Posteko uses the Claude API (Anthropic) to generate content. The elements required for generation (your profile, your instructions and the post context) are sent to Anthropic solely to produce your result. This data is not used to train AI models.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We only share it with processors that are strictly necessary to the service:
- Anthropic — AI content generation.
- Meta (Facebook) and LinkedIn — publishing and retrieving metrics, according to the permissions you grant.
- Our hosting and database providers — secure storage of service data.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time; we then delete your personal data, except what we must retain for legal reasons.
7. Security
Access tokens are encrypted and access to data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely infallible, but we apply reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. You can export or delete your data from within the app or by writing to contact@posteko.com.
9. Disconnecting social accounts
You can disconnect LinkedIn or Facebook at any time from Posteko, which revokes the associated tokens. You can also remove Posteko's access directly in LinkedIn's or Facebook's security settings.
10. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to authenticate you and maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. In case of a significant change, we will notify you. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
