This page explains how to delete your Posteko account and everything associated with it, including data from your LinkedIn account and your Facebook Pages.
Delete your account from the app
This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:
- Sign in to your Posteko workspace.
- Open Settings, then the Profile section.
- Click Delete account and confirm.
What gets deleted
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It covers:
- your account and profile (identity, goals, audiences, pillars);
- your connected channels (LinkedIn accounts and Facebook Pages), along with their access tokens, which are revoked;
- your materials, drafts, scheduled posts and publishing history;
- engagement records collected for your posts (reactions, comments, shares, impressions);
- your voice samples and the style profile distilled from them.
Posts already published to LinkedIn or your Facebook Pages stay online: they belong to those platforms and to your account there. To take them down, delete them from LinkedIn or Facebook directly.
Disconnect a platform without deleting your account
If you only want to cut Posteko's access to one network, open Channels in the app and disconnect that channel. The access token is revoked immediately and Posteko can no longer publish or read analytics for that account.
You can also revoke access from the platform itself: in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, and in LinkedIn under Preferences → Other applications → Permitted services.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access your account, write to contact@posteko.com from the email address linked to the account. We complete the deletion within 30 days at the latest and confirm it by reply.
Export your data before you go
Deletion cannot be undone and we keep no copy. If you want your content back, do it before deleting the account, or ask us for an export at contact@posteko.com.
